Will's professional and business story starts at a very young age in Raleigh, NC. As the oldest of 6 children, raised in a traditional Christian family, Will learned the invaluable foundations that would lead to success.

At the age of 9, Will started his first business venture and began mowing lawns for a couple of his neighbors. At the age of 11, his parents had to limit the number of customers he took on so he could focus on all aspects of life. At age 16, Will was exposed to tree work and chainsaw safety through volunteering with his father to help neighbors, friends and relatives with the aftermath of Hurricane Fran. At this point, though Will did not know it, the fuse was lit. By the time Will graduated high school, his business had grown to include several full-time employees and serve many Raleigh customers. His service list had also grown to include most aspects of landscape installation and maintenance, including tree trimming and tree removal. In 2001, Will made the decision to focus on providing low-impact tree services that protected the customer's landscape. Raleigh Tree Service was born. The rest is history. Will's love for trees, the tree industry and helping people solve their tree problems, has grown considerably over the years.
Will is extremely proud of his team, the many acquired skill sets and the vast array of cutting edge tree equipment that has helped to fuel the success of Raleigh Tree Service. However, he credits His Childhood Values for laying the foundations for the success of Raleigh Tree Service. He beams with pride when he tells the story of how he still has those early childhood customers as clients today. He jokes that they must really like him... to have weathered the astronomical price increases from the $8 push-mowing days, to the present!
