Meet Our Founder
Will Etheridge's journey in the tree care industry is deeply rooted in his Raleigh upbringing. As the oldest of six children in a traditional Christian family, Will learned invaluable life lessons that would become the foundation of his future success in the tree care industry.
Will started his first business venture at age 9, mowing lawns for neighbors.
By age 11, Will's parents had to limit his customer base to ensure he maintained a balanced life.
At age 16, Will gained invaluable experience in tree work and chainsaw safety while volunteering with his father for Hurricane Fran cleanup.
By high school graduation, Will's business had grown to include full-time employees and a range of landscaping services.
In 2001, Will founded Raleigh Tree Service, focusing on low-impact tree services that protected customers' landscapes.
Over the years, Will's passion for trees, the tree care industry, and solving people's tree problems has only grown stronger. His business philosophy is simple yet powerful:
