About the Company
We’ve been proudly serving Raleigh and The Triangle since 2001.
Our company is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, the Tree Care Industry Association, and is Better Business Bureau Accredited.
Yes, we have complete insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, and a commitment to do things the right way.
Invoicing and Payments
Yes, we do. Depending on your location, our minimum service charge starts at $650. This is not a travel charge but includes travel costs, debris disposal costs, payroll, and the performance of tree trimming or tree removal at your location.
Please note: Very few tree projects cost only $650. This is just the absolute smallest project that Raleigh Tree Service can accept due to the expense and logistics of mobilizing our crew to perform a tree project.
Yes, we offer an additional 5% discount at the time of service for any holder of a US Military ID.
Yes, we accept credit cards, and many of our clients choose to pay with them. We do not charge a fee to use a credit card.
Proposals and Quotes
After filling out our Request a Quote form online or calling us at 919-889-5783, we’ll set up an appointment to take a look at your tree(s) and get an idea of how we’ll tackle your service. We will then send you a written proposal by email and you can approve it online so we can begin work.
We need to be able to see your property to understand the tree’s condition, the space requirements, and any complicating factors that may require different equipment or personnel.
While we’d love to meet you, we understand everyone is busy. As long as we know what tree to examine and can get to it, we can handle your initial appointment while you’re away.
We do not charge for tree removal or trimming quotes in our normal service area.
About Tree Work
Unfortunately, we do not provide free wood chips to the general public. Wood chips are, however, available to customers while we are on-site performing their tree work (IF the space exists to safely dump chips onsite - many Raleigh residents don't have an appropriate space for this).
Wood chips may be delivered at other times, for a fee, if the site has sufficient room for our large trucks to unload safely. The minimum delivery is one truckload, which equates to 20 to 25 cubic yards (be sure you have enough space before ordering as this amount of wood chips can take up a lot of room!). Commercial customers may order wood chips by the tractor-trailer load (100 cubic yards per trailer).
This is an excellent question that many homeowners forget to ask when shopping for the proper tree removal and tree trimming service in The Triangle. When it comes to tree service, the devil is always in the details (or in the lack of details).
Keep in mind that a low quoted price may not equal a low-cost project! Improperly planned or performed tree work can cause excessive damage to your property and landscaping. For example, a freshly sodded lawn is expensive to repair or replace, and damaged mature trees are irreplaceable. Good communication is the key ingredient to success.
At Raleigh Tree Service, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and on the many property protection solutions that we offer depending on the challenges of the specific home or job site. We have worked on many paver driveways, immaculate lawns, and high-end landscapes over the years with little to no impact, leaving behind nothing but happy customers! The secret to our success is thinking outside the box and leveraging our years of experience to design a site-specific service plan that fits your needs.
We do not offer cat and pet rescue for several reasons. Cats almost always self-rescue after a while. Most cats will climb down or jump before they can be retrieved. Sometimes, the presence of a rescuer can even cause a stranded pet that would have otherwise climbed down on its own to jump from an unsafe height!
Additionally, our crews are set up for production tree removal and tree trimming work. We do not have the right equipment to protect the pet or our team during a retrieval operation.
Wildlife removal companies are better equipped to help in this situation. However, please remember that most pets will self-rescue if given the time to do so.
